Placement of pupils at primary schools Wassenaar
The Wassenaar primary schools have made joint agreements regarding the placement of pupils at the Wassenaar primary schools. A distinction is made between the placement of four-year-old pupils, placement of pupils during the primary school period within Wassenaar and placement of pupils who move to Wassenaar during the primary school period. The schools themselves decide whether or not children can be placed as prescribed by law. The starting point for placement is always the interests of the pupils.
Placement of four-year-old pupils
- From 0 to 3 years old, you can register your child at the primary schools in Wassenaar via the pre-registration form. You can find this form on the website of the primary schools. You indicate whether your child is also registered at another primary school. If so, which school and what the preference for placement is.
- Pupils are registered at the age of three as prescribed by law.
- All schools use their own criteria for admission, which you can obtain from every school.
- The school where you have registered your child will indicate approximately 3 months before your child turns 3 whether or not your child can be registered and ask whether the registration will be used. You indicate via a form whether or not you will use this.
- If your child cannot be placed, you will receive a message about this and your child can be placed on the waiting list at your request.
